A Kangaroo is a large marsupial exclusive to Australia. Kangaroo's are the largest of the marsupials. Kangaroos are tall species, and are very ell known for their large pouch to hold their young, and their use of hopping to get around. A kangaroo can go as fast as 44mph, but for only a short distance.


Different species of Kangaroo have different feeding habits, but they are all strictly herbivores. Kangaroos are grazers, so they eat any kind of grasses and small plants. Some Kangaroos also eat small fungi. Due to grazing, Kangaroos have specialized teeth for this.
