The White Rhinoceros is one of only five species of Rhino still in existance. Other than the species of elephants, the White Rhino is the largest species of land mammal. There are two sub-species of White Rhino, the Northern White Rhinoceros and the Southern White Rhinoceros. The Northern species only has seven individuals left in existance, all in captivity.

Like other Rhinos, the White Rhinos are grazers. They typically eat short savanna grasses, or small plants.
